Quality assurance
professionals play the most crucial role in delivering
services. They are the most respected for their
penchant for excellence, perfection and
meticulousness.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Quality
Considerations
QA
professionals (QAp) must possess keen eye for
detail and be able to spot mistakes and
inconsistencies in a medical report. They check and
correct the health information at a glance.
They
must possess detailed knowledge in medical terminology
in a wide range of specialties.
Logical deduction and correlation ability are key
parameters differentiating a good QAp.
Precise ability to understand, to do research, to be
self aware of one’s knowledge & lack of knowledge,
and the ability to flag off discrepancies for the
dictator, reduces the chance of patients receiving
ineffective or even harmful treatments and ensures
high-quality patient care.
Compliance with
Specific Standards
All
QAp must comply with industry standards and the
established guidelines by AAMT. The style of medical
records and the legal (HIPAA) and ethical
considerations for keeping patient’s privileged health
information confidential must be thoroughly understood
as a religious rite.
Professional
