ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Training Program
Candidates must have completed a Medical Transcription
training program of one-semester duration and
constituting studies in Anatomy, Medical terminology,
English Grammar (American) and Punctuation.
Proficiency
General Skills: Agile and nimble minded, self-driven
for progress, highly meticulous and utmost quality
conscious.
Computer Operational Skills: Typewriting speed atleast
40 w.p.m. In depth knowledge of word processing
software, Medical Transcription softwares,
dictionaries, spell checkers and online resources for
quick reference.
Listening Skills: Profound hearing acuity along with
good listening skills. Ability to grasp a variety of
dictation accents.
Language Skills: Good command over English language
and medical vernacular with all its diversity.
Day to Day job responsibility
includes transcribing 40 to 60 mins of dictation on a
daily basis, of consultations, chart notes, follow
ups, letters discharge summaries, and specialty
reports like stress test, nuclear test, echocardiogram
etc. and maintaining an accuracy level of 92%.
